Instructions
Set air fryer to 325 F.
Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl.
Beat together both of the sugars and the butter in another bowl with an electric hand mixer on medium-high speed until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg and then the vanilla.
Reduce mixer speed to low, add the flour mixture and beat until just combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips with a wooden spoon.
Scoop out slightly heaping tablespoonfuls of dough and roll into balls.
Arrange them at least 1 inch apart on the air fryer insert.
Air-fry until golden brown for 6 minutes.
Let the cookies cool for a couple minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Pro Tips
Ensure butter is at room temperature for the best texture.
Do not overmix the dough once the flour is added to keep cookies tender.
Work in batches to ensure even air circulation in the air fryer.
Let the cookies rest on the insert for a few minutes before moving them to prevent breaking.
